Hello!

The desire to make a difference in the lives of animals needing help shape ResQPet®, a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. The Northridge Earthquake and a life-long dream of helping pets inspired the creation of ResQPet® Emergency Preparedness and First Aid Trauma Kits for PETS.

I am the founder of ResQPet® and as a Safety Professional and Emergency Medical Technician, living less than 5 miles from the epicenter at the time of the 1994 earthquake, I found myself rescuing and treating not only my pets, but also those of neighbors. Knowing that even the most responsible pet owners usually do not have the requisite knowledge to put together a comprehensive preparedness and first aid kit, I decided to produce the ResQPet® Kits. As a non-profit organization, profits derived from sales of the kits go toward providing help to Handicapped Pets.

ResQPet® Emergency Preparedness and First Aid Kits contain a full assortment of safety, preparedness and medical supplies not found in ordinary first aid kits. A unique component of the ResQPet® kit is the comprehensive, pet-specific book that addresses and stresses the particular requirements of preparedness and response for the pet and the owner.

The current product line consists of three styles of kits for dogs and cats. All are rugged, safety-orange nylon kits in either Backpack, Duffel Bag or a roomy Fanny Pack style. Kit choice is based on the number and type of pets you have. Pet Carrier/Kit combinations are affordable at reduced pricing.

News broadcasts and papers are filled with heart-rending stories of people having to abandon their pets because they were not prepared to care for them. ResQPet has made it easy for the responsible pet owner to prepare and respond to minor day-to-day emergencies as well as large-scale disasters. ResQPet® Kits are endorsed by Veterinary Centers of America, Inc.

As a non-profit organization, we are not asking for a handout, just a hand. By being prepared to help your pets in time of need, you also help other pets as well. The profit from the sale of our products is used to raise funds for Handicapped Pets. Thank you for your support.
